About Anchored

Anchored Retirement was created to help people navigate one of life’s biggest transitions with greater purpose, clarity and intention. Retirement is more than a financial decision — it is a shift in identity, rhythm, relationships and direction. Anchored exists to provide thoughtful guidance, practical resources and encouragement for building a meaningful and fulfilling next season of life.

On the table, there is an open notebook with a pen, a coffee mug with an anchor symbol, a stack of books including one titled 'Live with Purpose', a lantern with a lit candle, and a small potted plant. The lighthouse stands on a grassy cliff along a path, overlooking the ocean with waves and a partly cloudy sky.

Why Anchored Began

Anchored Retirement began from a growing awareness that many people prepare financially for retirement, yet feel far less prepared for the personal transition that follows. Retirement changes more than income — it reshapes identity, routine, relationships and purpose. Anchored was created to encourage deeper reflection and provide thoughtful guidance for building a meaningful, intentional and fulfilling next season of life.

In the background, a window shows a lighthouse on a coast at sunset.

More Than Financial Planning

Anchored Retirement is not financial advice, nor is it a replacement for professional financial planning. While financial preparation is important, Anchored focuses on the personal side of retirement — identity, purpose, structure, relationships, faith and meaningful living. The goal is to encourage thoughtful reflection and help people approach retirement as more than simply a financial milestone, but as an important transition into a new season of life.

The vision for Anchored Retirement is to create thoughtful resources, reflections and practical tools that help people navigate retirement with greater purpose and clarity. Through workbooks, workshops, articles and encouragement, Anchored aims to support people in building a meaningful and fulfilling next season of life.

A Personal Note

Anchored Retirement grew from a personal desire to help people approach retirement with greater intention and meaning. After years of observing how deeply work shapes identity, structure and purpose, it became clear that many people need more than financial preparation alone. My hope is that Anchored encourages thoughtful reflection, meaningful conversation and a deeper sense of purpose for the journey ahead.

Retirement is not simply about reaching the finish line — it is about navigating a meaningful new season of life. Whether you are just beginning to think about retirement or already living in it, Anchored Retirement exists to encourage, guide and support you along the journey. Stay anchored in purpose, faith and intentional living as you move forward.

The text overlay reads: 'Stay Anchored' and lists three reasons: 'Stay anchored in purpose,' 'Stay anchored in faith,' and 'Stay anchored in intentional living.'
